Share Something Sweet

Share Something Sweet is a partnership between chocolate company Ferrero and Share Our Strength, a leading hunger-relief organization. “Ferrero’s "Share Something Sweet" campaign helps raise awareness of the critical problem of childhood hunger in the United States while raising funds to solve it," said Bill Shore, co-founder of Share Our Strength. "We are pleased to continue to work with such a committed partner in the fight against childhood hunger.”

You can learn more about this at: http://www.sharesomethingsweet.com/

This partnership is in its second year, and this year Ferrero has donated $150,000 to Share Our Strength and is giving others a chance to add to that donation. Right now, if you log on to Share Something Sweet and use it to "send something sweet" (that is, a customizable e-card), Ferrero will donate another $1 per e-card sent, up to $10,000.

And for every person that joins the Ferrero Facebook page, "Ferrero Lovers Unite," Ferrero will donate another $1 to Share Our Strength (up to $1,000): http://www.new.facebook.com/pages/FerreroR-Lovers-Unite/26098488476.

There's also a chocolate personality quiz, product offers and event news.

Elfing Around Giveaway - CLOSED!

Lisa C is the winner!
Chosen using random.org

I am a follower

I am always looking for really cool and fun traditions to start with my children. I have found the most awesome tradition that you can do with your children for Christmas - Elfing Around

It all takes place during the 12 days before Christmas. Your child's Elfing experience begins with a letter from your child's elf announcing their arrival. This helps to build the anticipation for that first day. When the Elf arrives that is when the FUN begins. The Elf arrives with a letter explaining that they must stay still during the day so no one sees their magic. At night is when the MAGIC begins. There is a parent's guide to help help the stage for each little 5-15 minute scene. The next day the child must find their elf. The elf leaves clues to find them. One day there is even a hunt. So much fun! On December 24th is when the elf goes back to the North Pole until next year. Elf dolls enhance Christmas!

No worries about repeating the same days for the next year because Elfing Around offers a parent guide for the next year. You can even get fun boxes to add a little extra fun to each day.

Each Elfing Around kit includes:
Boy/Girl Elf (12 inches tall)
Parent Adventure Guide Book
Letter from Elf
2 Elf Tattoos
Birthday Card from your child's Elf on their Birthday

Elfing Around is giving Photo Bug Baby one elf (girl or boy) kit to give away to one of you lucky people.

Summary of Purry Logic:
An all-new, all-feline collection of adorable illustrations, humorous sayings, and unadulterated cattitude from the creator of FURRY LOGIC. Filled with wry witticisms to perk up even the most finicky cat lovers, PURRY LOGIC puts a distinctly feline twist on Jane Seabrook's popular FURRY LOGIC books. This delightful collection presents cuddly cats offering purr-worthy pick-me-ups like, "My only purpose in this life is to rest and recover from my previous lives," "If you didn't make the rules, just ignore them," and "When fat, arrange yourself in slim poses." Watercolor-painted in loving detail, Seabrook's sleek and sassy kitties remind us that the best things in life are furry.

My Review of Purry Logic:
I grew up with cats and loved how cats behave and act. So all I could do was laugh while reading this book. I could picture all my cats in evey picture. Purry Logic is purr-fect book for the cuddly cat lover (pardon the punn, lol, I could resist). Here are a few of my favorite sayings:
~You're the warmest piece of furniture I know~
~What part of MEOW don't you understand?~
~PURR your way out of trouble~
This book is a must have have for all cat (and animal) lovers!

Dapper Snapper Giveaway! - CLOSED!

About Dapper Snapper:
Michelle is an inventor and entrepeneur and she is a mother of two skinny toddlers. It is not very often that you find a pair of pants that fit you thinner child around the waist. All to often, the length of the pants is perfect and the waist is too big which can cause droopy drawers. Until the invention of Dapper Snapper choices were limited to a cumbersome belt that made diaper changing and potty training nearly impossible or adjustable waist bands that cost twice as much as regular pants. With as fast as kids grow, who could he afford it? The Dapper Snapper is a cost effective, easy to use, and fashionable answer to droopy drawers.

If your kids are anything like mine than they probably dislike belts a find them a pain when going to the bathroom. Dapper Snappers are the perfect belt alternative. They are fashionable and do not impede any potty training or diaper chainging efforts at all.

Giveaway:
Michelle at Dapper Snapper is graciouslly giving me a Celestial Dapper Snapper (Navy elastic, Celestial caps, and Smoke components) to give to one of you.

Elfing Around Product Review

Elfing Around - Boy/Girl Elf Tradition
http://elfingaround.com/index.php

About Elfing Around:

Having children of her own made Lisa realize very quickly how important it is to keep the magic of Christmas alive as long as possible. She had visions of beautifully elaborate holiday seasons which included an eye-pleasingly decorated home, the yummiest aromas filling the air, the sounds of Christmas music and children laughing echoing throughout, perfectly wrapped gifts in coordinating paper with extraordinary bows adorning each one. Well, more kids were added to the mix and Lisa realized that her vision wasn’t what Christmas traditions were all about anyway.

This was about the time when the Elfing Around elves were discovered. Eureka – the Christmas tradition she'd been dreaming of! The elves were right up her alley. They were messy, funny,
enchanting – but most of all they put a sparkle in her children’s’ eyes and smiles on their faces everyday, all day long. Before her eyes these magical Christmas elves changed Christmas as they knew it. They aren’t just elves to her children – they are Jingle and Sugar Plum, of course! After she set up each nightly escapade (the elf comes with a book explaining what you need to do) Lisa would go to bed excited to see her children’s reactions the next morning.

The elves became part of their family immediately. They were brought on play dates and introduced to their friends, they came to restaurants, parties, movies and honestly, this new Christmas tradition, these two Christmas elves, Jingle and Sugar Plum, brought their family together in ways she couldn’t explain. This Christmas tradition is all about family! They’ve made their Christmas less about the hype and commercialization and more about the joy that Christmas
brings to those who believe. So now when someone asks me – Why a new Christmas Tradition? Why a Christmas Elf Doll? – Lisa answers smilingly, just because, it’s magical!

Product Review:
Lisa was such a doll to send me an elf for both my little girls to review. I received Sparkle (who makes dollhouses) and Pixie (who makes ballet clothes).

Each adorable little elf kit comes with: Boy/Girl Elf (12 inches tall), Parent Adventure Guide Book - year 1, Letter from Herbie Elf (this is given to the child so they can anticipate their elf's visit), 2 Elf Tattoos and a birthday card from your child's Elf on their Birthday.

Your child's elf begins his/her visit 12 days before Christmas. Not to worry about next year as there is year two available. This si when the magic begins. Each night you child's elf (with your help) will have a little fun around the house. Each activity only takes about 5 minutes to set up. All the activities will definitely bring a smile to your child's face.

You can also add on a fun box which is some extra fun along with the activities in the parent
guide.

I personally can not wait to start this awesome tradition with my children. I will going back next year for year 2 and for an elf for my 7mo so he can join in the fun.

The packaging was professional and was shipped very quickly. Lisa is an excellent person to work with. Quick responses. If you are looking for something special for your children or even your grandchildren then check out Elfing Around.

Bob Bon Cupcakes Review

Bon Bon Cupcakes - Ruffle Leggings
http://www.bonboncupcakes.com/

About Bon Bon Cupcakes:

Bon Bon Cupcakes are a children's legging and apparel company based in Kansas City, MO. They are proud to serve children's stores all over the country as well as internationally!

Product Review:
I received the most sweetest pair of basic white ruffle leggings for my 5 year old. These are so cute and look just adorable on. The are a wonderful addition to any litte girl's wardrobe. There are a variety of design choices from basic one ruffle to double ruffles to ones with bling. You can also get team colors and holiday designs. My daughter did snag hers but not sure if that makes them easy to snag or not as she had worn them to school. My daughter said she loved them and that they were nice and soft. These leggings will compliment almost anything in a little girl's wardrobe.

The packaging for the leggings is simply adorable. They look like a little cupcake in a clear plastic box. Shipping is very quick. Marianne is a pleasure to work with and is quick to respond. These leggings would be cute with any dress or outfit.

Wild Dill Product Review

Wild Dill - Finger and Hand Puppets
http://www.wilddill.com/

About Wild Dill:
Wild Dill products are organic, fair trade, sweatshop-free, natural and/or recycled. We help you be
kind to the earth while caring for your little one!

Jennifer's son Dylan, an amazing little guy who loves water, books, bugs, outside and strawberries, was her inspiration for starting Wild Dill - a store that reflects his sense of curiosity and wonder for everything that is natural and wild. We carry only natural, organic, fair trade,
made in the USA/Europe, or recycled clothing, toys, bedding and furniture for babies and toddlers.

Product Review:
Jennifer send me the most wonderful puppets - Kenana Knitter Critters Leopard Puppet and Kenana Knitter Critters Finger Puppets w/Lion. They are so soft. No itchiness that some puppets can often have. My two girls just love them. They play with them quite often and they also put them into a bag and they take them in the car to keep them busy. The biggest thing they like to do is to play with them with their baby brother. They make him laugh and that makes them laugh. All is
good when that happens.

The packaging is wonderful and she shipped very quick. Jennifer is a pleasure to work with. If you are looking for a unique and special gift to give that are also environmentally friendly then you should check out Wild Dill.
